On September 29-30, 2017, the Bogalusa Blues and Heritage Festival will bring the magic back to the “Magic City” once again. There will be Grammy winning acts headlining the Blues Stage both nights, and a Louisiana Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member headlining the Heritage Stage on Saturday. Performers include
Colin Lake (Roots and Blues music), Big Chief Monk Boudreaux Band (a unique blend of music styles), Anders Osborne, Wes Lee (original Roots and Blues music), Erica Falls (Blues, Jazz, Funk and Gospel), Victor Wainwright (with his monster, barrelhouse, honky-tonk piano), Samantha Fish (guitar and vocals), The North Mississippi All-Stars (a Southern Rock Blues Band led by brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson), the Franklinton High School Jazz Band, the Washington Parish Arts Program/Believe Music Camp, under the direction of Bruce Sampson, Tea Moore, a Varnado native (classic mix of Rhythm and Blues, Soul, and Pop), Travis Clark (a guitar playing performer and songwriter), and Louisiana's LeRoux.
