Mandeville Police Chief Gerald Sticker reported today (April 13, 2017) that Mandeville Police Officer and Public Information Officer Becky White has been terminated from the Mandeville Police Department following an internal affairs investigation of an off-duty incident in Ponchatoula on March 27, 2017. White had previously been on administrative leave after allegations surfaced that she had driven her marked Mandeville police unit while intoxicated.
Chief Sticker stated, “Overall, the men and women of the Mandeville Police Department do a great job for our citizens. However, any behavior that impeaches their credibility or which can potentially erode public trust will not be tolerated.”
