Mary Nell Miller Stollenwerck

September 20, 1936 - February 3, 2021

Mary Nell Miller Stollenwerck, age 84 and a resident of Kentwood died Wednesday night February 3, 2021 at her home. She was a 1957 graduate of Mount Hermon School that worked for many years in retail and was the manager of Boston’s Department Store and other businesses through the years. Mary also worked in the banking industry at First Guaranty Bank and Bank of Greensburg for several years. She enjoyed reading and loved listening to her favorite gospel music. Mary liked to watch old western TV shows and movies and, later in life, she learned to play golf to spend quality time with her husband.

Survived by: Husband: Robert Stollenwerck of Kentwood; 3 Sisters and Brothers in law: Margie and Haspel Stewart of Wilmer, Bonnie and Kenneth Jones of Enon, Betty and Ronnie McCain of Amite; Sister in law: Virginia Miller of Franklinton; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members

She was preceded in death by her parents Murvin E. Miller and Netta Bateman Miller, brothers Bobby G. Miller, Donald Miller, Danny Miller, nephew Gary Miller, niece Sherry Seals, great-nephew Sean Touchstone.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday February 10th from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Wednesday with Rev. Percy Frazier and Rev. Joey Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery.
