Mark your calendars and help beautify the Town of Franklinton! A Community Cleanup Day is set for March 27, 2021. Join in the effort by meeting at 8:00 AM at the Public Works Department located at 1108 Lenora Street. Lunch will be served.
Event organizer and Washington Parish School Board Member Frankie Crosby spoke about the event at the Washington Parish Council meeting Monday (February 22, 2021) evening. Crosby stated this is the third annual Community Cleanup Day held in conjunction with the Town of Franklinton. He said that Sheriff Randy Seal will be providing bags. Council members and President Thomas commended the effort and President Thomas remarked on the litter problem and committed to procuring some needed supplies.
