Loretta Taylor McCain
June 25, 1963 - January 6, 2021
Loretta Taylor McCain, age 57, was born June 25, 1963 and passed away Wednesday morning January 6, 2021 at North Oaks Medical Center. A wife and mother of Pine, Louisiana and a longtime member of Pine Missionary Baptist Church. She was a stay-at-home housewife that was always there for her family if they needed her. Loretta was a people person with a big, caring heart. She always made it a point to call church members, checking on them and letting them know she was praying for their wellbeing. Loretta was a blessing to her church. Three things she loved the most in this world were her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family and her church. God truly had blessed her through her life on this Earth. Loretta enjoyed cooking great meals for family and friends and she had a special place in her heart for her pet dog “Daisy May”.
Survived by: Husband: A.C. McCain of Pine; Daughter: Jenifer McCain; Siblings and Their Spouses: Sidney and Paula Taylor, Douglas and Elvia Taylor, Wesley and Lisa Taylor, Bernice and James Miller, Lillie Mae Jutz; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members
She was preceded in death by her daughter Loretta Lynn Schilling, parents James W. Taylor and Lorene Miley Taylor, brother James Vernon Taylor and sister Patsy Taylor Martin.
Visitation will be at Pine Missionary Baptist Church Sunday January 10th from 12:00 pm until the funeral service at 2:00 pm with Eld. Adam Luper and Eld. Jason Skipper officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help with final expenses.
