Charlene Jones, age 86 and a resident of Franklinton, LA, was born on September, 25, 1934. She departed this life on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Carl Jones of N. Billeria, MA, Ralph Jones of Mt. Hermon, LA, Wayne Jones of Columbus, GA, Mildred Shavers, Bridget Jones, Kathy Hayes, and Michael Jones all of Baton Rouge, LA; three sisters, Leaudry Conner, Alvia Williams, Beverly Woods; one brother, Lawrence Hart; 20 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Charlene is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Mildred Hart, Sr.; Husband, Ray Jones, Jr.; sister, Ladonis Cooley; brothers, Elbert Hart, Leon Hart, Jr., Rochester Hart; grandchildren, Tarshula Hayes and Angelica Jones.
A drive through viewing will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home, Franklinton.
A Private Graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at St. James Cemetery, Franklinton, LA with Rev. Johnny Causey, Pastor Officiating.
Crain and Sons Funeral Home, Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
