Brenda Donice Varnado Dykes
July 28, 1951 - January 12, 2021
Brenda Varnado Dykes, age 69 and a resident of Kiln, MS, passed away Tuesday morning January 12, 2021 at her home. She loved going out to eat, especially her favorite seafood. Brenda enjoyed watching her afternoon TV shows and fun game shows. She also loved watching older, classic TV shows like Leave It To Beaver, The Any Griffith Show and others. Brenda had a kind heart that wanted to serve others and she enjoyed attending Ben’s Ford Baptist Church when she visited her local family.
Survived by: Daughter and Son in law: Jenny and Keith Lee of Oakridge, NC; Sister: Janice Varnado Crain of Thomas; Brother and Sister in law: Phillip and Cindy Varnado of Bogalusa; Also numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Raiford Varnado and Mildred Goings Varnado.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Sunday January 17th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Sunday with Rev. Caleb Martin and her nephew Chris Varnado officiating. Burial will follow in the Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
