Also, six grandchildren and spouses: Rhonda and Delos Williams, Kevin and Sondra Magee, Keri and Myron Crowe, Kacie Breen, Kelli Burch (Joe Orr), and Michael and Karen Kyle. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Kendall Pugh, her parents Hubert Dillard and Rosella Wheat and siblings, Ray Stuart, Joe Dillard, Elsie Dillard and Eunice Dillard.

Nell, know as Nanny to many, had many loves in her life, but her first love was of God. She was a faithful member of First United Pentecostal Church in Bogalusa and as long as her health permitted, she could be found on her favorite pew. Her second love was of her children and their families. Those who were acquainted with her, know that she loved to work in her yard, mowing the grass and tending her beautiful flowers. On any pretty day, she would be on her lawnmower or in her flower gardens. She maintained her own yard until she was almost 90.

Due to Covid restrictions, her remembrance service will be held graveside for family and close friends on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 beginning at 2:00 PM, at Mizell Cemetery in the Isabel Community. The family requests that Covid safety precautions be utilized. Rev. Travis Houston will officiate, assisted by Rev. Leon Hickham.

Pallbearers are: Timothy Sanderson, Camron Williams, C.J. Hickman, Ryan Hickman, Adam Magee, Jason Crowe, Jeffrey Slaughter, Aiden Breen, and Ethan Kyle.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to her church or a charity of choice in her memory.

Brown McGehee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
