Arrest Made in Amite/Hammond Storage Facilities Burglaries

Yesterday (September 14, 2020), Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reported the arrest last week (September 9, 2020) of Ernest Roscoe Bradley Lankford (41) of Tickfaw on (9) counts of Simple Burglary, (4 ) counts of Attempted Burglary, Theft by Fraud, and Identity Theft. 

Detectives with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office Burglary Task after they determined Lankford to be responsible for the burglaries at the Red Dot Storage Facility on University Avenue in Hammond and The Space Place Mini Storage Center in Amite. These incidents took place between August 19-28, 2020.

Detectives are still gathering information pertaining to this case and in the process of recovering and identifying stolen property. At this time, TPSO is asking anyone with knowledge of or who has purchased items from Lankford to contact the Burglary Division at Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Office, 985-345-6150.

Victims of these burglaries are asked to contact Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office Detective Kody Glenn at 985-345-6150, to report, identify, and/or claim recovered property.
