Voters overwhelmingly approved renewal of the 18 mill property tax sought by Hospital Service District No. 1 (Riverside Medical Center) on the ballot Saturday, August, 15, 2020. The proposition was a renewal only, not a new tax and no increase in the tax rate.
Voters voted 78% to approve the renewal. The unofficial turnout was only 10.8%.
