Disturbance 1. Tropical Storm Isaias is moving north-northeast at 35 mph on a forecast track that is taking it along the coast of mid-Atlantic states today and across northeastern United States into southern Canada tonight. Maximum sustained winds are near 70 mph. Gradual weakening is anticipated.
Disturbance 2. A trough of low pressure located about 300 miles south-southwest of Bermuda is forecast to move northwestward at about 10 mph over the southwestern Atlantic today, stall several hundred miles southwest of Bermuda tonight, and then drift southwestward on Thursday. Formation chance through 48 hours is low at 30% and formation chance through 5 days is low at 30%.
