On July 12, 2020, at approximately 10:47 a.m., deputies responded to Amite River District Convention Church on Old Baton Rouge Highway in reference to the theft of two 5-Ton and one 3-Ton Rheam Air Conditioning Units.
Members of the congregation stated the air conditioning units were last seen in place on July 8, 2020, around 8:00 p.m. Detectives learned a white Dodge Pickup and a grey Jeep Cherokee with a white driver's side door may have played a part in the theft.
