Timothy "Timmy" Dale Burkhalter
October 14, 1972 - July 06, 2020



Timothy Dale “Timmy” Burkhalter, age 47 and a resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away July 6, 2020 at his residence.

Visitation will be Friday, July 10, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Sheridan Holiness Church in Franklinton, LA and will continue on Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM at the church.  Burial will be at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA.  Rev. Charles Creel and Rev. Eric Creel will officiate.  Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Timmy was born October 14, 1972 in Bogalusa, La. He was the son of Frank and Faye Creel Burkhalter. Timmy worked offshore and worked doing construction work and later worked as a welder for several years. He was an avid bass fisherman.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Vernon and Ruby Lee Brock; his maternal grandparents, Albert “AC” & Udene Creel; a son, Ryan Montana Burkhalter

He is survived by his parents, Frank and Faye Creel Burkhalter of Bogalusa, LA; one son, Carter Ryan Hendricks of Lockport, LA; one daughter, Kyra Hathorne of Crossroads, MS; one brother, Paul Burkhalter of Bogalusa, LA; one sister, Kimberly Granthom of Bogalusa, LA; two nephews, Christopher Grantham and Nathanie Grantham of Bogalusa, LA and numerous other relatives and friends.
