“A Time To Be Born”
On March 27, 1940 in Franklinton, Louisiana a bouncing baby girl was born to Wiley E. Taylor Sr., and Norma Bell and they named her Yvonne Taylor.
“A Time To Plant”
At an early age Yvonne accepted Christ and was baptized in Franklinton, Louisiana. Later in life she moved to Austin, Texas and united with Mims Chapel Church of God in Christ the late Elder Carlton Mims.
Yvonne attended school in Franklinton and attended Vogue Beauty College where she became a very sought-after hairstylist. Yvonne had a passion for making her customers look good.
Yvonne met and married the late Ned Causey. Later in life she met and married the late Levi Henry.
“A Time To Work & Play”
Yvonne worked numerous jobs in her life time. She worked at the House of Elegance for over ten (10) years and Cal's Beauty Salon over twenty (20) years. Yvonne retired from Cal's and opened her own licensed beauty shop in her home. Her hobbies were cooking, sewing, doing hair and spending time with her family.
“A Time To Die”
On June 3, 2020, Yvonne answered the Lord’s call and her body left this side of heaven to go to a new heaven. Yvonne went home to be with both her parents, her husband; Levi Henry, her siblings; Emil Taylor, Dorothy “Dot” Crosby, Lawrence “Bo” Taylor, Phillip Taylor and L.C. “Lil Buster” Smith Jr. who preceded her in death.
“A Time To Weep”
Yvonne leaves to cherish her memories, Her Children: Aaron Causey (Mary), Vicki Causey (Danny), Allen Causey (Dellanda), Frederick Causey (Felicia), Jaquen Causey, and Phillip Causey. Her Siblings: Allen Ray “Butch” Taylor, Katherine Fay Lee, Sandra Gayle Brock (James), Wilda Delorse Magee and Tommy Bell. Twenty-six (26) grandchildren, Fifteen (15) great grandchildren and one (1) great great grandchild. And a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Drive Through Viewing will be on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton, Louisiana. A Graveside Service will be on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 1:30 PM at Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness USA in Franklinton, Louisiana.
