Christine Penton Sticker
July 7, 1934 - May 31, 2020



Christine Penton Sticker, age 85 and a resident of Franklinton, died Sunday evening May 31, 2020 at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa. She was a longtime member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Franklinton that dearly loved the Lord and her church family. Christine worked for many years as a cook for Main Street Restaurant and enjoyed doing puzzles and crossword puzzles. She loved traveling to the ball fields to see her great-grandchildren play sports and always loved visiting and taking care of her family. She had a special place in her heart for her pet Chihuahua Missy.

Survived by: 2 Sons and a Daughter in law: Lavel Knight, Tyrone and Duck Seal all of Franklinton; Grandchildren and Spouses: Thomas and Joanie Knight, Mindy Knight Spears and Johnathan Spears, April Polkey, Terri Ortiz, Savannah Knight, Bailey Knight, C.J. and April Seal, Kristen and Willie Kennedy, Steven Jay Seal, Jr., Jason Peavey, Dustin Peavey, Joshua Peavey; 20 Great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren; Sister and Brother in law: Ernestine and Louis Lawson; Brother and Sister in law: Milton and Kathy Penton; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, son Steven J. Seal, Sr., husbands Lavel Knight, J. Seal, Irwin Sticker, parents George Erwin Penton and Josephine Stogner Penton and several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday June 4th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Thursday with Eld. Edward Penton officiating. Burial will follow in the Seal Cemetery near the Stateline Community.
