Wilbur Gene Parker

Wilbur Gene Parker, a resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at his home. He was born March 3, 1945 in Osyka, MS and was 75 years of age. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran and a retired industrial electrician with IBEW Local #995.

He is survived by his 2 brothers, Wesley Parker and John Parker (Janice); nieces and nephews, Travis Parker, Cassie Parker, Bridget Parker Magee (Juan), John Mitchell Parker (Tabby), Amanda Freeman, and Jason Parker (Tori).

Preceded in death by parents, John Wesley Parker and Myrtis Newsom Parker; brother, Floyd W. Parker. A Memorial Service will be held at New Zion Baptist Church at 10:00AM on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Services conducted by Rev. Larry Blades.
