Doris J. Creel

Doris J. Creel was a resident of Franklinton, LA., at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was born February 19, 1939. She was a loving, mother, sister, and grandmother, as well as a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons Robert Burl Stogner of Hackley, LA., and Boris J. Stogner of Pine, LA. Three daughters Shelia May and her husband John of Franklinton, LA., Michelle Daugherty and her husband Robert of Bogalusa, LA., and Dawn Davis and her husband Aaron of Leakesville, MS. One stepson Willie J. Creel, Jr. and his wife Colinda of Moss Point, MS. Two step daughters Kim Whaley and her husband Bobby of Franklinton, LA., and Tammy Creel of Pasadena, TX. Four step brother, two step sisters, 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and other friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Doretta Lee. Two husbands Clinton B. Stogner and Willie J. Creel, Sr. One brother Huey Lee. Two sisters Helen Crain and Wilda Landry. One granddaughter Krystal S. Daugherty.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Morris Cemetery in Franklinton, Louisiana. Rev. Rick Elder officiating.

Pallbearers are Robert Daugherty. Shawn Daugherty, Howard Miller, Kevin Whatley, Calvin Finley and Drake Davis. Honorary Pallbearers are John May, Robert Stogner, and Kenzie Stogner.

Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana is in charge of arrangements.
