Obituary

Noah Davis Magee
March 20, 1927 - May 02, 2020



On March 20, 1927 the Lord blessed the world with Noah Davis Magee, Sr. to the loving parents of Alex and Willie Toomer Magee in Warrenton, LA.

Being brought up in a Loving Christian home, he accepted the Lord into his life at an early age. Becoming a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, where he sung in the choir, worked on the Usher Board, the Deacon Board, and where ever the Lord saw fit to use him.

Upon graduating Franklinton High School, he was drafted into the United States Navy for World War II. At the drop of a hat. He also attended Aboment School in Hammond, LA

After returning home from the Navy, he met his better half, and fell in love with Jessie Lee Magee. Where they made their home in Cleveland, OH. He worked at White Motors for many years.

Noah leaves to cherish his precious memories, three sons, Noah (JuaTina) Magee, Jr. of Virginia, Lawrence Magee of Cleveland, OH, and Joseph Magee of Franklinton, LA; three daughters, Lena Magee of Baton Rouge, LA, Carolyn (Wendell) Coningham, and Margie Magee both of Cleveland, OH; fifteen grandchildren; a host of great great grandchildren; two great great great grandchildren; five generations of Noah Davis Magee.

Preceding Noah in death one sister, Johnnie B. Johnson; one brother, Linzie Magee

Private Graveside Service at Toomer Cemetery.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Franklinton in charge of arrangements.
