Obituary

Bobbie Cyprian
July 19, 1940 - April 12, 2020

On Sunday, April 12, 2020, the angel of silence came and claimed one we loved so dearly, Bobbie Jean Cyprian. On July 19, 1940, Bobbie Jean was born to the late Mary Armstrong Robinson and the late Thomas Cyprian.

Bobbie Jean was a faithful member of The Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church where she attended Sunday School.  One of Bobbie Jean’s favorite church songs were “View That Holy City.”  This was one of the many songs that Bobbie Jean would get up and do her praise dance to.

Bobbie Jean was a person who loved being around her family, friends, going to Sunday School, church, coloring in her coloring books, and most of all, enjoying a nice cold coke.

Bobbie Jean leaves to cherish her memories: two sisters, Mary Laurent and Jeanette Brown of Bogalusa, LA; One sister-in-law Sue Brown of Bogalusa, LA; three brothers, Douglas May of Los Angeles, CA, Hollis Brown, and Clyde (Jackie) Brown of Bogalusa, LA; Her long time care-giver, Sheila Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her grandmother Senary Armstrong, her grandfather Fritz Armstrong, one sister, Elizabeth May, four brothers Joseph May, Wesley Cyprian, David Brown, and Howard Brown.

A private Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Bogalusa Cemetery in Bogalusa, Louisiana.
