Ida Nell Hines Passman Wright
March 30, 1930 - April 7, 2020



Ida Nell Hines Passman Wright, age 90, went home to be with our Lord early Tuesday morning April 7, 2020. She was currently a resident of Good Samaritan Living Center. Nell was a native of Washington Parish, where she lived and served the Lord all her life. Being a part of God’s Family was her most precious gift that she strived to show others during her life. Before being overtaken by Alzheimer’s disease, Nell loved to cook, sew and go camping with her family and friends. She looked forward to their trips to the mountains, visiting with friends they had met along the way through the years, as well as making new ones.

Survived by: Daughter and Son in law: Brenda and Charlie Corkern of Franklinton; Son and Daughter in law: Glyn and Lisa Passman of Mt. Juliet, TN; Step-son and Daughter in law: Scott and Jeanne Corkern of Prairieville, LA; Grandchildren and Spouses: Chad and Sonya Angelo of Franklinton, Amanda and Chance Schubert of Madisonville, Jonathan and Maggie Passman, Jordan Passman all of Mt. Juliet, TN; Great-grandchildren and Spouses: Matthew and Jessica Angelo of Live Oak, LA, Morgan and Breanna Angelo, Mackenzie Angelo all of Franklinton, Chace Schubert of Madisonville, Colin Corkern, Matthew Corkern both of Prairieville; Great-great-grandchildren: Stella Kate Angelo, Sage Angelo, Stetson Angelo, Jackson Angelo; Brother and Sister in law: Eld. Billy Ray Hines and Sue Hines; Sisters in law: Gayle Hines, Dorothy Hines; Also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

She was preceded in death by her first husband Winfred Passman, second husband Thad “Billy” Wright, parents Jason Hines and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Thomas Hines, brothers Silas Thomas , Clayton Hines, Marcus Hines, son in law Norman “Butch” Angelo, mother in law Rose Passman, sisters in law and brothers in law Iola and J.E. Wheat, Lucy and Lewis Thomas, step-son Neil Wright.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday April 9th in the Pine Community Cemetery with Eld. Billy Ray Hines and Rev. Joey Miller officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to the Washington Parish Food Bank (2208 Washington Street, Franklinton, LA 70438).
