Boncille Crain Arcement
July 16, 1924 - April 13, 2020



Boncille “Bonnie” Crain Arcement went to be with her Lord on Monday, April 13, 2020, at the age of 95. Bonnie was born July 16, 1924, in Stateline, LA. Married George J. Arcement, Sr., they were married for 64 years until his death in 2009.

She is survived by a son, George Arcement, Jr., and his wife Peggy Sheridan Arcement, daughter, Pixie Ledet and husband Wilson Ledet. Grandchildren Brad Arcement, David Arcement, Tanya Ledet, Cassie Ledet Bourque, Lauren Ledet Anthony, and 9 great-grandchildren

Preceded in death by her parents John Luther Crain and Velma Stogner Crain of Stateline, LA. Bonnie was the last survivor of 8 siblings, Lavon Crain, Warren Crain, Ovede Crain, Renee Seal, Virgia Lavinghouse, Genell Brauner and Shirley Crain.

She is most fondly remembered for the love she had for her family. There are many cherished memories of her love and care throughout her life.

A private graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 17, 2020, at Crain Cemetery, Stateline, LA.

The family would like to thank the staff of Brandon Nursing Home, in Brandon, MS., and Ollie Steele Nursing Home in Baton Rouge, LA., for the care, comfort and love shown to Bonnie. A special thanks to those friends that endeared themselves to Bonnie in recent years.
