Michael "Mike" M. Applewhite

Michael “Mike” M. Applewhite, age 65. passed away to lung cancer at home surrounded by his family on March 28,2020. He was born September 6, 1954 in Bogalusa, LA. to Maurice and Wilda Applewhite. Mike enjoyed Nascar, water skiing, football, and baseball games.
He is survived by his four children; Corey McDaniel, Casey (Lizzy) McDaniel. Traci (Danny) Munizza and Amy Hunt. Six grandchildren; Madalynn Munizza, Maksym, Gabryella, and Olyvia McDaniel, Seth Crain and Megan Hunt. His sister, Maurine (Gary) McGehee and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceeded in death by his parents; Maurice and Wilda Applewhite.
Michael will be laid to rest on Sunday, April 5th at the Ponemah Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home.
