Beginning Monday, April 27th the Council on Aging will expand meal delivery to five days per
week. In order to qualify to receive meals you must be aged 60 or older and live in Washington Parish. Priority will be given to those seniors who are low-income and/or isolated with no one available to provide assistance with food delivery. If you meet the criteria and are in need you can contact us to complete an application. However, please be aware that our services are strictly limited to persons age 60+.
Our offices will remain closed to the public until the Governor’s Stay at Home order is lifted. You can call (985)732-6869 for information and assistance and service requests from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Stay safe and stay home!
