Nell Turnage Jones
February 14, 1941 - March 7, 2020



Lynelle "Nell" Turnage Jones, age 79 and a resident of Pine, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Saturday March 7, 2020 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. She was a member of New Beginning Baptist Church in Thomas. She enjoyed reading, completing word search puzzles and spending time with her beloved family.

Survived by: 3 Sons and Daughters in law: Marvin and Gwen Jones, Bryan and Kristie Jones, Michael and Michelle Jones all of Pine; 10 Grandchildren and Spouses: Camela Jones, Michael and Bronwyn Jones, Justin and Kelly Jones, Auston and Miranda Jones, Kelsi Jones, Kamryn Jones, Brody Jones, Gloria and Vic Tusa, Shelen and Ricky Baughman, Marlina and Trey Keele; 12 Great-grandchildren; Brother and Sister in law: Larry and Peggy Turnage of Franklinton; 2 Sisters and Brothers in law: Diane and Lester Dykes of Franklinton, Billie and Truett “Tap” Roberts of Mt. Hermon; Also numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Malloye Jones, parents JC Turnage and Hester Payne Turnage.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held Saturday March 14th at New Beginning Baptist Church in Thomas from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 pm with Rev. Keith Branch officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to New Beginning Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice.
