Jackie B. Miller
January 29, 1937 - March 1, 2020



Jackie B. Miller, age 83 and a resident of Franklinton, died Sunday afternoon March 1, 2020 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was born near Mt. Hermon on January 29, 1937 to his late parents Marvin Miller, Sr. and Joyce M. Miller. Jackie worked at Washington Bank in Franklinton and also worked for many years for Union National Insurance throughout Washington Parish and south Mississippi.

Survived by: Wife of 62 years: Delane Dillon Miller of Franklinton; Daughter: Kathy L. Miller of Denham Springs; Grandsons and Spouses: Christopher and Sarah Seals of Kentwood, Cody and Stephenia Seals of Denham Springs; Great-grandchildren: Carson Tullier-Seals, Ryleigh Seals, Dally Seals; 2 Brothers and Sisters in law: Bobby and Marilyn Miller of Baton Rouge, Paul and Joann Miller of Denham Springs; Also numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by brothers Marvin Miller, Jr. and Stanley Miller, father in law and mother in law Ott and Eleanor Dillon.

A graveside funeral service will be held in Ellis Cemetery (201 7th Ave., Franklinton) on Friday March 6th at 11:30 am with Dr. Cody Warren and Rev. Joey Miller officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to First Baptist Church, c/o New Sanctuary Fund, 950 Self Street, Franklinton, LA 70438.
