Judson Harve Mayes

Judson Harve Mayes passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 in Mississippi at the age of 43. He was born in Covington, LA on February 22, 1976.
He is survived by his son, Devin Lee Mayes of Purvis, MS; his father, Hershel Mayes of Alabama; his brother, Shamus (Vera) Mayes of Tallahassee, FL; his sister, Faith Elizabeth (Jonathan) Abercrombie of Baton Rouge, LA; and three nephews, Remington Abercrombie, Christopher Drummond, and Joseph Drummond.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Drummond Mayes and brother, Joseph Anthony Drummond.
Visitation celebrating his life will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory in Bogalusa, LA on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at Annunciation Catholic Church in Bogalusa, LA on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. and continue until funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Father Daniel Brouillette will officiate. Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery. Military honors will be presented by the United States Army Honors Team.
