Bogalusa Police Charge a Daughter in Death of her Mother

The Bogalusa Police Department reports the arrest by Capt. David Miller and detectives of the Bogalusa Police Criminal Investigations Division of Robbin Robinson (35) on the charges of Negligent Homicide, Cruelty to the Infirm, Forgery, and Medicaid Fraud.

A four month investigation into allegations of abuse of the infirm determined that Robbin Robinson was a paid caregiver for her mother, through a Medicaid funded LDHH Waiver Program. It was learned that 57 year old Doris Robinson died from Sepsis Shock and Kidney Failure, as a result of gross neglect while in Robbin Robinson's care. It was also learned that the LDHH Waiver Application had been falsified by Robbin, in order to receive compensation for her mother's care.

Robinson was booked into the Washington Parish Jail on January 31, 2020. Bond has been set at $150,000.00.
