Doris Talley
October 29, 1942 - January 27, 2020


Doris Talley, age 77 and of Bogalusa, LA, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24th surrounded by her family. Doris was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who will be dearly missed. She was a social butterfly who enjoyed playing bunco and boating with friends and family. She also enjoyed motorcycle trips with her husband and close friends. Her favorite activity was spoiling her grandchildren. Doris loved the Lord and served her church in Memphis for many years as the pianist and in many other roles. After moving to Louisiana, Doris became an active member of New Beginnings Church in Covington, LA.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Hugh Talley, and her two children, Tim Talley (Meg) and Rita Resuggan (Phillip) and their families, as well as her brother, Charles Outland.  She was also blessed with 5 grandchildren, Tim Talley (Hillary), Lexie Talley, Luc, Jacob and Phillip Charles Resuggan.

The Memorial Service will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Tuesday, Jan. 28th.
