Melissa Ann Sheridan Jenkins
January 7, 1966 - January 22, 2020



Melissa Ann Sheridan Jenkins, age 54 and a resident of Franklinton, died Wednesday January 22, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of Pine High School that always enjoyed playing around, joking and laughing with her family and friends. Melissa loved to go camping, ride 4-wheelers and spend time in the outdoors. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Survived by: Husband: Robert Earl Jenkins, Jr. of Franklinton; 2 Sons and a Daughter in law: Zachary and Callie Sheridan of Pine, Anthony Voltolina of Tylertown, MS; Daughter: Myriah Sheridan of Franklinton; Step-son: Tristen Jenkins of Franklinton; 4 Grandchildren: Sawyer Sheridan, Alexus Voltolina, Gabriel Voltolina, GiAnna Wheat; 2 Sisters and a Brother in law: Georgia and Randy Shoemake of Carriere, MS, Shelly Carnegie of Franklinton; 2 Brothers and Sisters in law: Wayne and April Sheridan of Franklinton, Kenny and Rhonda Sheridan of Pine; Also numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father Shirley Miller Jenkins and Ottis Jenkins, father Loyd Arnold Sheridan, Sr., sister Brenda Sue Carnegie Stevens, brother Loyd Arnold Sheridan, Jr.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Friday January 24th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Saturday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Saturday with Eld. Billy Reyer and Rev. Charles Ray Creel officiating. Burial will follow in the Sheridan Cemetery.
