Patricia Ann Kyger
July 1, 1959 - January 27, 2020



Patricia Ann Kyger, age 60 and a resident of Franklinton, died Monday night January 27, 2020 at her home. She was born in Sherman, TX on July 1, 1959 but traveled frequently around the country, as her father worked for the airlines, meaning Pat experienced all parts of the country and even Europe. Pat had a career as a psychiatric nurse in several areas before settling in Franklinton for the last 10 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Franklinton, where she was instrumental in the formation of the Celebrate Recovery group. Pat dearly loved her church family. She loved to travel, sew and make crafts. Pat loved painting and photography and adored her young grandchildren and cherished the time spent with her family.

Survived by: Husband: Bob Kyger of Franklinton; 2 Daughters and Sons in law: Elysha and David Oriol of Madisonville, LA, Dara and Trevor Giroux of New York; 2 Sons and Daughters in law: Jacob and Rachel Keeling of League City, TX, Robbie Kyger, Jr. and Christina Kyger of Fort Polk, LA; 7 Grandchildren: Nathan Oriol, Addison Oriol, Samantha Oriol, Benjamin Keeling, Easton Kyger, Emma Kyger, Colleen Cunningham; Father: Donald Jacobs of Sherman, TX; Aunt: Roselyn Lalond of Dennison, TX; Sister in law and Brothers in law: Dee and Jim Lindley of Petal, MS, Kill Kyger of Sand Springs, OK; Also numerous nieces, nephews and friends

She was preceded in death by her mother Anita Lalond Jacobs, birth father William “Bill” Bryant, brothers T.K. Bryant, David Jacobs and an infant granddaughter Ann Marie Kyger.

Visitation will be at First Baptist Church of Franklinton (950 Self Street, Franklinton) on Friday January 31st from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 10:00 am on Saturday. A funeral service will be held in the church at 3:00 pm Saturday with Rev. Cody Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Ellis Cemetery.
