Funeral services for Bobby L. Stinson, 76, of Tylertown, MS will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Centerville Baptist Church (Lexie) with Brother Eddie Dupre and Brother Chris Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Centerville cemetery in Lexie, MS.
Mr. Stinson passed away at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. He was born November 7, 1943 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Leda and Leslie Stinson.
He was preceded in death by daughter Sandy Stinson; grandson Caleb Stinson; sisters Lesine (Edward) Harvey and Dean (Kost) Stampelos; brothers Jack (Evelyn) Stinson and Ansel (Dorothy) Stinson; and mother of his children Shirley Stinson.
Bobby was a life long member of Centerville Baptist Church of Lexie. He was a self-employed truck driver who also enjoyed working in his yard, helping others, and spending time with family. Mr. Stinson had the best sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.
Survivors include his son Ralph (Stacie) Stinson; grandson Zachary Stinson; and nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loving family.
Pallbearers are Doug Grammer, Travis Stinson, Jamie Stinson, Michael Stinson, Bobby Ginn, and Dwayne Pierce.
Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Hilburn, Bruce McCaffery, Jewell Holmes, Jerry Barnes, Ted Smith, and Buck Johnson.
Visitation will be at Centerville Baptist Church (Lexie) on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. and also on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
