Michael Gerald "Mike" Gilmore, age 55 and a resident of the Hackley Community, passed away early Tuesday morning November 5, 2019 surrounded by his five precious granddaughters and loving family. Mike worked as a rod-buster for Going’s Steel and then later worked at Circle T Farm Supply for many years. He was an avid deer hunter and outdoorsman that also loved riding horses and motorcycles through the years. Mike cherished the time spent with beloved granddaughters, family and friends.
Survived by: Denise Cupp Gilmore; 2 Daughters: Meagan Crain and Cody Spear, Mallory Gilmore and T.J. Maples; 5 Granddaughters: Madison Crain, Katiebug Crain, Brylee Grace Crain, Khloe Jade Maples, Presli Blair Gilmore; Mother: Sybil Shaw Gilmore; 2 Brothers and a Sister in law: Dewayne and Erica Gilmore, Arnold Gilmore; Uncle and Aunt: Donnie and Delores Gilmore; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members
He was preceded in death by his father Howard Gilmore, baby brother David Gilmore, grandmother Mary Lee Gilmore, aunt Diane Greer, cousin Caleb Gilmore and father in law and mother in law Jerry and Linda Cupp.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday November 7th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 10:00 am on Friday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Friday with Rev. Eric Williams and Rev. Gerald Welch officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill-Magee Cemetery.
