Obituary

Chasity Dion Davis
September 30, 1984 - October 11, 2019



On Friday, Oct. 11, 2019, God sent his angels to welcome home his beautiful daughter, Chasity Davis, to her final resting place.

At a young age, Chasity gave her heart to God and dedicated her life to Christ. Chasity was born on Sept. 30, 1984, to Delores Davis in New Orleans. Chasity was pursing her nursing degree from Delgado Community College. Chasity was the third child out of five children and a mother of one child, daughter Chaszion Davis.

Chasity had a true passion for poetry. Her favorite saying was “Failure is not an option.” She was never a person to give up. She instilled positivity, love, and inspiration into others with her infectious smile and compassionate spirit.

Chasity was preceded in death by her grandmother, Roxie Davis.

She is survived by her daughter, Chaszion Davis; her mother, Delores Davis; her stepfather, Cubert Smith; her six siblings, Crystal Davis, Cubert Davis, Chandria Davis, Corey (LaQuita) Davis, Dillon Garnett Jr. and Derron Garnett; and several nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

The funeral service will be Sunday, Oct. 20,2019 at 2 p.m. at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness, located at 25333 Parish Road 59 in Franklinton with Rev. Alvin Partman - Officiating. Interment will be at the Toomer Cemetery.

Crain and Sons - Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
