Edward “Boo” Charles Richardson
January 10, 1978 - October 07, 2019



Edward “Boo” Charles Richardson died unexpectedly and peacefully in his home on October 7, 2019 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 41.  Edward was born on January 10, 1978 in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Clyde Owens and Sylvia Ann Richardson Scott.

Edward is survived by his mother, Sylvia Scott (Fred) of Bogalusa, Louisiana.  He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Edward D. Fields of Arlington, Texas and Robert Dyson of Bogalusa, Louisiana; three daughters, Ebony Lynch and Kianna Lynch of Baton Rouge, and Karmesha Harry of Bogalusa, Louisiana. He also leaves a brother, Clyde Richardson (Kenisha) of Mineral Wells, Texas; five sisters, Alexandria Richardson of Dallas, Texas, LaShayla Richardson (Johnathon) and Natalie Richardson of Biloxi Mississippi, and Tabeetha Richardson (Melvin), and Lethea Richardson of Bogalusa, Louisiana, a special sister, Marquita Pigott of Bogalusa, Louisiana, and a special cousin, Vanessa Sheridan, of Florida City, Florida.  He also leaves a special friend, Kimberly Lynch of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Owens, grandparents; Freddy Tyson, Althea Pigott, Olivia Weary and Marcell Owens; three aunts, Jonell Pigott, Mattie Nell Owens, Mattie Sell Owens, and Emma Ball; four uncles, Herman Pigott, Ronnell Sartin, J. L. Weary and Pulp Owens, great-grandma Marline Richardson and great- aunt Mabel Richardson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the chapel of Crain & Sons Funeral Home – Bogalusa, LA from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm followed by family hour from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm.  Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Second Baptist Church, 1412 North Avenue, Bogalusa, LA with Rev. Darrel Self, Pastor Officiating.  Interment – Bogalusa Cemetery. 

Crain & Sons Funeral Home – Bogalusa, LA in charge of arrangements.
