Mary Elaine Passman
October 12, 1947 - October 12, 2019



Mary Elaine Passman, age 72 and a resident of Franklinton, died Saturday October 12, 2019. She was born in Washington Parish in 1947, and died on her birthday. Mary was a member of San Pedro Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed going to all the local Flea Markets. She was an excellent baker and was well known for her cakes, pies and all different types of jellies that she made each season. Mary had a special place in her heart for her pet Chihuahua “Ree Ree”.

Survived by: 2 Sons and Daughters in law: Marlon and Debra Ann McClendon of Franklinton, Bruce and Theresa Marie McClendon of Amite; 8 Grandchildren; 17 Great-grandchildren; Sisters and Brothers in law: Barbara and Tommy Hall, Audrey Barber all of Bogalusa, Cindy Lecroix of Franklinton, Martha and Horace Branch of Tylertown, Kathleen Passman of Franklinton; 2 Brothers and a Sister in law: David and Marilyn Seals of Franklinton, Vince “Casey” Seals of Tylertown; Special Friend: Cherry Stanhope of Franklinton; Also numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Mack Passman, parents Charlie Thomas Seals and Evon Toney Seals, and brother Charles Travis Seals.

Visitation will be Tuesday October 15th at San Pedro Missionary Baptist Church from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church at 2:00 pm Tuesday with Eld. Burdette Thomas and Eld. Ed Penton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton, Louisiana is in charge of arrangements.
