Update on Hurricane Dorian

While hurricanes are notorious for their uncertain behavior, tracking models suggest Dorian will make landfall in Florida and then take a turn northward. If so, this will be a blessing for our area.

From Washington Parish President Richard Ned Thomas:

"Due to the uncertainties with Hurricane Dorian, it is vital that you stay informed and prepared. All residents, if you haven’t already done so, should be preparing and as always have an emergency plan in place. Now is the time to make sure your generator is in working order and that you have all necessary supplies you may need for (7) Days. I continue to urge everyone to remain vigilant and stay tuned to local media."
