Candidates wishing to be on the October
12, 2019 ballot will qualify August 6-8, 2019 (Tuesday-
Washington Parish voters will be voting
for State Senator District 12, State Representative District 74,
State Representative District 75, District Judge Division F, Sheriff,
Clerk of Court, Assessor, Coroner, Parish President, Parish Council
Members, Associate Justice Supreme Court, and BESE District 6. On the
ballot for state-wide offices are Governor, Lieutenant Governor,
Secretary of State, Attorney General, Treasurer, Commissioner of
Agriculture and Forestry, and Commissioner of Insurance.
Many have already declared their
intention to run for office and kicked off their campaigns. But there
are always surprises. It's gonna get interesting!
