Aline Williams Graves
August 21, 1940 - August 10, 2019



Aline Williams Graves, age 78 and a resident of Pine, died Saturday evening August 10, 2019 at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. She was a lifelong member of Acy’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church, that truly loved the Lord, her church and church family. Aline worked for Creel Family Pharmacy for many years, including recently, right up until her health would not allow it. She loved working in her yard and tending to her plants and flowers. Aline knew only one speed, and was always “wide open” in the things she did, according to all her friends and family. She was a great caretaker to her husband, children and grandchildren.

Survived by: 3 Sons: Billy Theron Graves, Jr. of Franklinton, Chesley Nathan Graves of Pine, Norman Andrew Graves of Angie; 4 Grandchildren: Tre’ Graves, Caleb Graves, Colby Graves, Malloree Graves Jenkins; 10 Great-grandchildren: Konner Graves, Kollin Graves, Kooper Graves, Gabe Garza, Ashlyn Graves, Andrew Graves, AnaLei Graves, Adam Graves, Hadleigh Jenkins, Raif Jenkins; 6 Sisters and Brothers in law: Delores McNeese of Pine, Janice Kennedy of Stateline, Beverly and Lavon Rester of Franklinton, Anita Lavinghouse of Bush, Jackie and Randy Ezell of Franklinton, Kim and Lorne McLaurin of Crossroads, MS; 3 Brothers and Sisters in law: Junior and Kaye Williams of Lawrence Creek, Johnny Williams of Greenwell Springs, LA, George and Lisa Williams of Angie; Brothers in law and Sisters in law: Eld. J.W. and Marcell Graves of Franklinton, Mabel Graves Beall and Roy Beall of Denham Springs, LA, Wanzie Graves Adams of Alabama; Also numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Billy Theron Graves, Sr., parents Otha Williams, Sr. and Audrey Tynes Williams, brothers in law Elmo McNeese, Bill Kennedy, Walter Lavinghouse, brother in law and sister in law Denman and Pat Graves.

Visitation will be at Acy’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church on Tuesday August 13th from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church at 1:00 pm Tuesday with Eld. Donnie Broom, Eld. J.W. Graves and Eld. Duane Ball officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
