Helen Hart-Daniels, age 94, was born on December 13, 1924 in Franklinton, LA and departed this life August 6, 2019.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Jeardine Daniels-Sparks of New Orleans, LA and Jacqueline Daniels of Franklinton, LA; three sons, Melvin Daniels, Jerry Daniels both of Franklinton, LA, and Leanon Daniels of Syracuse, NY; three sisters, Catherine Foster of New Brunswick, NJ, Margie (Alvin) McGary of Brandon, FL, and Joyce (James) Jackson of Folsom, LA; one brother, Donnie R. (Marilyn) Hart of New Orleans, LA; thirty-three grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, McCauley Hart, Sr. and Althea Hart-Magee; husband Nathaniel Daniels; four sisters, Lorraine Daggins, Elvira Hudson, Lillian Jordan, and Luvenia Hart; three brothers, McCauley Hart, Jr., Ruesaw Lanell Hart, and Mitchell Hart; one daughter, Anevenet Daniels-Jonhson; and four sons, Nathan Daniels, Jr., Jural Daniels, Charles E. Daniels, and Larry Daniels.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 16th from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Family hour will begin from 6:00 PM – 7:00PM at the Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton, LA.
Funeral service will be Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Friendship Church of God in Christ with Superintendent Benson Magee – Pastor Officiating. Interment will be at the Daniels Cemetery.
Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
