St. Tammany Residents - Register Now for STPSO Citizen's Academy

Are you curious about how the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office works? Do you want a behind the scenes look at our operations? Now is your chance!

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office will hold its next Citizen's Academy this fall. The four-week course will include classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9 p.m. from Sept. 10 to Oct. 3. Participants must attend 80% of the classes to graduate. Class size is limited to 50 participants, and the class, which is free, is open to St. Tammany Parish residents age 21 and over, but you must first apply.

The course will culminate with a graduation ceremony.
