Franklinton Board of Aldermen Meeting of February 26th

The Franklinton Board of Aldermen met February 26, 2019 and, in addition to routine matters,

• granted a permit for the Krewe of Pepe parade that will roll Sunday, March 3rd
• heard from Mike Daniel, an organizer of the ALIVE Christian Music Festival. In its third year, the event is growing and is scheduled for this year on April 13th at the Parish Fairgrounds. 
• heard reports on the fire department, the police department, and finances
• recognized the retirement Nan Wood, a long-term employee of the Franklinton Police Department
