Floyd Joseph Ardillo, Jr.
February 4, 1973 - January 23, 2019



Floyd Joseph "Joe" Ardillo, Jr., age 45 and a resident of Franklinton died early Wednesday morning January 23, 2019 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was a former resident of Amite during his younger years and attended Amite High School. Joe worked in the retail grocery business for many years. He formerly lived in Texas and later lived in Kentucky, where he worked at the Ford Motor Company assembly plant, before moving back to Louisiana and settling in Lake Charles for several years. Joe had recently moved to Franklinton to be nearer to his family. He loved fishing and always enjoyed hanging out with his friends while camping on a river bank or just spending all day at any good fishing hole.

Survived by: Children: Cassidy Ardillo, Seth Ardillo and their mother Erin Collins of Port Neches, TX, Samantha Ardillo, Isabella Ardillo and their mother Laci Ewing of Lake Charles, Gage Ardillo and his mother Katherine Walker of Spurger, TX; Companion and Friend: Theresa Ardillo of Poplarville, MS; Mother and Step-father: Margaret Bailey King and Mike King of Franklinton; Sisters: Victoria A. Varnado, Beth Ann King both of Franklinton, Lisa and Chris Fussell of Kentwood; Brothers: Corey Joseph Easley of Baton Rouge, Chad Easley of Springfield; Aunts and an Uncle: Carole Armstrong of Pine Grove, Steve Bailey, Judy Lambert both of Zachary; Also numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Alice Danielle Ardillo, father Floyd J. Ardillo, Sr., step-mother Judy A. Holden, grandparents Bill and Rena Lambert, Floyd and Pearl Ardillo, uncle Randy Bailey, aunt Lois Bailey.

A memorial service for family and friends will be planned at a later date.
