Armed Robbery and Shooting Near Bogalusa/Suspects Sought

Washington Parish Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Mike Haley has advised that around 4:20 am this morning (December 28, 2018), a business, located on Hwy. 21 outside the city limits of Bogalusa, notified 911 of an armed robbery and shooting. The employee was shot and is now fighting for his life.

The victim is currently at University Medical Center in New Orleans. Video shows two possible females and a male suspect in a newer model light colored passenger car pull into the convenience store where an altercation with the employee ended in gunfire.

There may be witnesses present during the incident. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division (985) 661-2024.
