Bonnie Rae McDaniel Waskom, age 80 and a resident of Franklinton, died at 11:15am Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Riverside Medical Center.
She was a member of Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren play different sports. She loved to crochet and shop. She was a people person always enjoying time spent with family and friends. She enjoyed watching The Price is Right.
Survived by: Son and daughter in law: Michael and Rhonda Waskom of Franklinton; 4 Grandchildren and spouses: Ray and Brittany Waskom, Justin and Megan Roberts, Stacey and Jason Stafford, Jamie and Walter Simpson; 13 Great grandchildren: Raylee Waskom, Braxten Waskom, Addie Waskom, Celise Simpson, Simone Simpson, Jordan Harrison, Emery Stafford, Charlee Stafford, Lillian Stafford, Ivy Roberts, Isla Roberts, Violet Roberts, Autumn Roberts; Sister and brother in law: Sherry and Jimmy Graham of Kentwood; Brother and sister in law: Richard and Karen McDaniel of Kentwood; 3 Sisters in law: Mildred Waskom of Franklinton, Lynda McDaniel, Sharon McDaniel both of Kentwood; Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband John Kenneth Waskom, a son Kenneth Waskom, her parents Charles and Nezalee Bond McDaniel, father in law and mother in law Faires and Thelma Waskom, 2 brothers Pat McDaniel and Bob McDaniel and a brother in law Bobby Waskom.
Visitation will be at Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, November 2, 2018 after 9 AM. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon at the church with Eld. Brent King and Eld. Everett Broome officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
