Franklinton Fire Department Awarded Grant for Gear

Today (October 2, 2018), Franklinton Fire and Rescue announced that the Franklinton Fire Department was awarded a grant for the purchase of at least nine new sets of turnout gear from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The announcement stated that the gear was much needed as some firefighters have been using gear that is in excess of fifteen to twenty years old.

Money spent at a Firehouse Subs location goes towards the foundation to support fire departments. Franklinton Fire and Rescue asks that, when you are near one of these locations, please stop buy and grab a bite because out of the money you spend, you are putting money towards equipment to save someone's life.
