Lori Ann Weary was born on June 12, 1963 to the late Cedric Brumfield and Norma Lee Magee in New Orleans, LA. She was the eldest of six children. On Wednesday, September 12, 2018, she was called to her eternal home.
Laura, as she was affectionally called, loved being around her family. She enjoyed the laughter and smiles of her many brothers, sisters, and grandchildren. She worked for many years as a home-health nurse in Franklinton, LA.
She was married to the late Michael Weary. Lori was preceded in death by her father, Cedric Brumfield.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Brandon M. Weary; her daughter, Brittany M. Styles; 8 grandchildren, her mother, Norma L. Brumfield; two sisters, Angela B. Mills and Tondra N. Tate; four brothers, Lawrence C. Brumfield, Chris G. Brumfield, Scott D. Barnes, and Toney L. Brumfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service is set for 11 am on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.
