Mr. Earl K. Brumfield, Sr. was born to the late Mr. Albert and Rosia Brumfield, on Tuesday, February 24, 1948 in Mt. Hermon, LA. He departed his earthy life on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 with his devoted wife Betty by his side at Riverside Medical Center.
Earl was joined in holy matrimony to Betty Brumfield on December 24, 1993 in Tangipahoa, LA. He attended Vernon High School. Earl enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his wife and family.
Earl was preceded in death by his wonderful mother, Mrs. Rosia Brumfield; a faithful father, Mr. Albert Brumfield; three brothers, Rayfus, Oscar, and Billy Brumfield; two sisters, Gierell Dyson, and Jeanette Jackson; one stepdaughter, Bernadine Robinson, one stepson, Larry Robinson; and one step grandson; Corey Robinson.
Earl K. leaves to cherish his memories and celebrate his homecoming his devoted wife who was his caretaker, Betty P. Brumfield; three sons, Earl (Phyllis) Brumfield, Jr. of Kentwood, LA, Bobby (Tina) Brumfield of Baton Rouge, LA, and Rico (Maka) Brumfield of Tamuning Guam; two step sons, Richard (Felicia) of Houston, TX, and special step son, Anthony Robinson of Franklinton, LA; two daughters, Theresa (Cedric) Manning of Franklinton, LA, and Venetris Marshall of Loranger, LA; two step daughters, one special step daughter, Augustine (Joseph) Tobias of Tangipahoa, LA and Sharon Strickland of Longview, TX; two sisters, Frankie and Beckadine both of Mt. Hermon, LA; two brothers, Albert and Willis both of Mt. Hermon, LA; twenty six grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; host of nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be at Magee's Temple Church of God in Christ in Franklinton from 9 am to 11 am on Saturday, August 4, 2018 to be followed by a Funeral Service at 11 am.
Crain and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
