Willie Clarance Thompson, Jr.
April 12, 1950 - July 15, 2018



SP4 Willie Clarance Thompson, Jr. was born April 12, 1950 to the late Willie Clarance and Classie Mingo Thompson. He married the late Eleanor Ramsdell Thompson.
He was a member of Greater Center Baptist Church in Angie, LA under the leadership of Pastor Sidney Jones.
He served in the United States Army from 1970 -1976 until his Honorable Discharge on October 19, 1976. He also helped to care for his brother, Leonard.
SP4 Willie Clarance Thompson, Jr. leaves to cherish his memories, June Willene Ramsdell, a daughter whom he reared as his own, of Covington, LA; four sisters, Mary Lee Greely of Angie, LA, Anne Pearl Thompson of Bogalusa, LA, Augustine Anderson of Jamaica, New York and Clarissa (Archie) McCowan of Angie, LA; four brothers, Deck Z. (Evelyn) Thompson of Angie, LA, Leonard R. Thompson and Lorandy (Clara) Thompson both of Varnado, LA and Homer Thompson of Angie, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, Willie, Sr. and Classie Thompson; three sisters, Eula M. Thompson, Betty J. Segura and Edna L. Thompson.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana followed by a Family Gathering from 4 pm to 5 pm. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Monday, July 23, 2018 at 12 pm at the Greater Center Baptist Church in Angie, Louisiana.
