Two Parish Polling Places To Change

Ordinances were introduced at the Washington Parish Council meeting Monday (June 11, 2018) to change where Mt. Hermon and Richardson community voters go to vote. Public hearings and a vote on the ordinances will be on June 25, 2018.
The polling place in ward 2 precinct 1 would move from the old library building in Mt. Hermon to the Ruritan National Club at 36101 Tennis Court Road in Mt. Hermon.
The polling place in ward 9 precinct 1 would move to the new location of the Washington Parish Fire District #2 (now Ronda Sylvest Varnado Memorial Fire Station) located 39618 on Highway 10.
