Billy Gene Watley
August 10, 1945 – January 19, 2018


Billy Gene Watley, age 72, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, LA. He was born on August 10, 1945 in Natchitoches, LA and served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Lynn Watley of Bogalusa, LA; his daughter Amy Watley of Bogalusa, LA; his sister Betty Lou (David) Christman of Winnfield, LA grandchildren J. Brandon Abshure, Victor Edward Miley, and Ava Elizabeth Catapano.
Billy is preceded in death by a daughter Angela Lynette Watley; a brother Willie Dub Watley; and a nephew Philip Moses.
Services will all be Sunday, January 21, 2018 at New Life Pentecostal Church with visitation starting at 11:00 am and remaining open until the funeral service at 1:00 pm at the church. Rev. Wesley Quave will officiate and interment will follow at the Veterans Plot in Ponemah Cemetery with full military graveside rites performed by the American Legion Magic City Post #24.
